I live in the fortress, and for me as a photographer, Heusden is a true paradise: the changing light over the river Maas, the reflections in the water around the city walls, and the beautiful combination of nature and architecture continuously provide new images. Whether it's a detail of a roof, a golden sunset, or a quiet evening with warm street lighting — Heusden continues to surprise.
